This review is strictly for the night life bar, not the food. This place is a wanna-be Chicago night club- in Orland. They have very loud pounding techno music playing, half naked go-go dancers, and strobe lights. This bar typically attracts three types of people. 1) half naked, sleazy, crack head looking type of girls 2) Affliction wearing juice heads and 3) old creepy men. The drinks are extremely overpriced and super weak. If I want the night club scene, I'll head to Chicago.

It's a bar. If you think the food will be good, you're wrong. It's average bar food. The place can get noisy and packed. They sometimes have bands and it does get the crowd going. Good ambiance for a younger crowd. Check their schedule before you go as it ranges from club djs to bands to karaoke.

My husband and I live in the area, two years ago we loved stopping in for food and drinks. The staff was friendly and the food was good. However the last three visits have been terrible! I have no idea if management has changed but staff takes forever to acknowledge you, the food is mediocre and not to mention it's not clean. Our last visit even staff was complaining about how they haven't cleaned the bathrooms. Today was our LAST visit we sat for 15mins not one person acknowledged us and it was not busy plus napkins were everywhere. It's sad because at one time we were actually friendly with the staff and had fun nights there. I wish them luck but we'll never spend a dime there again!

I have been here a few times since my last review. Each time I came in it was for the burgers. I have tried most of them no and they are all very good. Consistency and large are a big plus here. Good service every time.

I've always heard mixed things on Zante, enough to encourage me to never go there. Until I saw the $1 burger Wednesday special. My girlfriend and I couldn't say no to that (although she tells me no about plenty of other things). I went in with low expectations (the same could be said about my relationship) but it was a great experience! It wasn't loud or full of obnoxious twenty somethings which numerous folks told me inhabited the place. It was casual and nice. The dollar burger covered the whole burger menu, which meant you could get the bacon burger for a dollar, or the classic for a dollar, or any of their other burgers for a dollar. You weren't handcuffed to a plain burger! Our waitress was kind, quick, and beautiful. I wanted to run off with her right then and there and leave my "girlfriend" behind. Parking is easy. The pricing is decent. The portions on the appetizers are quite filling. I'll definitely be going back to Zante, hopefully alone.

If i could give less I would. Server was not professional, after waiting 15 minutes the first thing she told us the was the table we were sitting at was for a bachelor party that is in 2.5 hours and we need to be out of there by then. Really? Those were the first words out of her mouth. She could have told us we were welcome to sit anywhere else but no. Seemed to me she could care less if we were there. Then she brings the drinks and wants to cash out or take my credit card for a tab. We were going to have dinner, what the heck? The drinks were terrible. Very watered down. For a first experience, it was a huge let down. I will not return, there are plenty of nice places in the area to spend your money, do yourself a favor and pass up on this one.

I will absolutely return soon based on this experience. We opted to dine lightly and have a few drinks alfresco on an amazing outdoor patio, equipped with the most hypnotic torches a "fire feature" pit with surround seating and plenty of tables arranged in an open-air layout. The waitress was very attentive, polite, and quick with our orders. We ended up sharing the spiked shrimp and a Greek salad and I couldn't have been more pleased. The shrimp was bathed in a perfectly spicy buffalo sauce and decidedly tender, the Salad was authentically Greek with a very generous portion and the dressing was mouth watering. I was also impressed with the Zante Lemonade, it had plenty of alcohol, without overbearing the flavor and the lemon wedge was a nice touch. I can't wait to revisit and try more menu items. Overall, I highly recommend this spot, there's really nothing in Orland like it. Not over the top expensive yet, plenty classy.

Great screens for the sports fan. Not sure about the food, but didn't order. Could be good. Worth a visit. Finally ended up getting the wings after the game. Wings were subpar at best. They struck me as the frozen variety baked. Didnt care for them. Plenty of gaming. Lots of folks playing the various machines there. Loved that they had Dos Equis on tap. Thats a big win for me. Was gonna go to the old standby place, the Cottage, but they were were closed. Decided to give this place a shot.

Horrible service! Yes they are cheap with their specials, but their service has progressively become bad to the point where my review needs to be updated. On the weekend this place is WAY TOO LOUD to the point it's really annoying. The food is nothing special and honestly I hope this place either improves or closes.

Yeah it's a lounge. It seems it's more of a club on busier nights. It was really chill on this particular night. Gotta love those blue flames on the outside. We were able to watch some of the plethora of screens they had. I wouldn't come here to watch "the" or any game really though. Remember there's blue flames on the outside; this is not your fathers bar. There was a limo parked out front as we were walking in; it's that type of bar. Bartenders are nice. Pretty chatty. Talked about Jordan's(a nearby bar) previous name. Couldn't remember. Seems they had good drink specials even though I don't drink. I just had water but my friends got like $2 millers. Again with the live gaming. I saw someone in my peripheral sitting at a machine the whole night. Didn't go up to the bar, didn't order drinks; just draining that bank account all night long. Sounds fun! Clean bathroom. Very nice. Smelled good. They had stalls, no private poopers.

This lounge is very subpar. I've been here on two occasions and haven't been impressed. The first time I went there wasn't a whole lot of people which is nice on a Friday night because we were able to sit at the bar no problem. However, one must ask the question, why is a bar so barren on a Friday night. The drinks were decently priced, but a little watered down. The band was pretty good and played a lot of classics as well as some current hits, however, no one was dancing, not that there would have been a lot of people to dance. The second time I went was nye 2013. A friend of mine wanted to go because they were having a good deal and it was right next door to a hotel. This time the place was packed. The drinks were still very watered down and the food was much worse than normal bar food. They had a DJ who was actual really good and dancing was fun. Overall, if you are looking for a cheap place to chill, you will have a pretty good time here, just don't expect too much.

Wouldn't have been my first choice for a night out but I went for a friend's birthday and was quite surprised. My friend reserved a table, so they had one marked for us when we arrived which was nice, especially if you hate to stand all night. The server we had for the table was amazing. She even asked what our friend likes in order to give her a birthday shot, on the house of course. She kept the drinks coming and was super friendly all night. I wish I had gotten her name because she was amazing, and I wish I could let management know how wonderful she was. The only bad part about the table was that it was slanted, literally it tapered down from the center, which meant we had about 6 drinks just slide right off during the night. The waitress was nice enough to replace the birthday girl's lost drinks but it was really inconvenient and left a huge mess under our table. We went on a Saturday so ladies got in free. The entrance is heated well, which is nice while your waiting for the slow ID scanner to process. The beer was cheap enough, the mixed drinks are on the high end, but that is what's to be expected at a night club. The college basketball games were playing when we first got there, but once they ended they turned the music up, and the tvs off. Just a warning - the music is very loud (and I know some of you are thinking, "duh! of course it's loud") but honestly my ears rang until the next weekend so if you are sensitive I'd advise using some ear plugs or staying far away from the speakers/dance floor.

Well came here for the hawks game, was debating to come or not and decides to give it a try since they advertise on facebook a lot. This was my second time here and the first one was long long time ago. We came in with the wife not dressed in hawks colors, just as a regular customers. At the entrance there was noone to greet us or a sign to sit yourself down. I understand it is a bar, but not only regulars go to the bar. We found a spot not too far from the entrance and sat down. Had to wait for about 10 minutes before a server saw us, i would not mind wave my hand to a server to let them know i am here, need a menu and a drink. When finally server came to us we figured out employees are dressed like customers, so i had no clue how many were working that day. Food was ok, tried the special 1 topping pizza for $2.95, well received what was expected, very plain taste, but it was ok. We also got appetizer platter. Few things were good, most of it came out cold. Drinks were good, i liked bloody marry, expected to be asked if i wanted spicy or mild (have 3 year bartending experience, was trained to ask). Bartenders were having a lot of conversations between each other rather then engaging the customers. It is a bar, but some people watching the game by the bar were alone, its expected to have conversation with a bartender and not be ignored until you lift your empty bottle. Restrooms, just ok, barely ok. Yes you can do what you need to do there, but needs upkeep for sure. Looked like saturday night was a good party and for sunday they just took the garbage out. Upkeep needed. Atmosphere was like a bar and thats what i expected, place to come drink watch a game or party friday saturday night. Not a place to come with a few friends and hang out. Our server i would give A for effort, B for service. More training and keeping up the place ia needed. I was set on 3 stars but had to give two stars. Thata because server or food runner came out of the kitchen with few pizzas and walked to our side of the room to ask 3 tables if the pizza was theirs. She was on the wrong side of the room. Looked like an episode from Bar Rescue. I would come again and give it a try, but expectations were higher before we walked in.

Came here for the all you can eat wings for 4.95 on a Tuesday night. There is limited staff. I think just one waitress and another bartender who was helping with bringing out the food. For the wings, you can order 6 at a time and the available options are plain, mild, hot, bbq, and garlic. We tried all of the flavors and the plain seemed to be the best. The others were just too salty for me. Overall, the wing deal is decent. The service, however, was horrible. The waitress was just simply rude. It was hard to find her when we needed to order more wings to the multiple times she rolled her eyes at us when we asked her to 1. bring more water 2. more ranch 3. to repeat the sauces. Also, when she brought out the check, when my friend went to hand it back with the credit card, it fell to the floor. My friend apologized, but the waitress, AGAIN, rolled her eyes. I mean, if you're having a bad day, don't take it out on the customers. EXTREMELY disappointed in the service.

The night I was here - it was not so bad! Although, we did have to pay a $5.00 cover for a god-awful 80's cover band. The band was not at all fun, but they did think the world of themselves. Service was attentive, beer was cheap. Bathrooms should have been better. Like, stall doors should work, and if the hand dryers are broken, stop adding new machines without taking the old ones down.

I live in the area and wish they would do more advertising of bands/entertainment. It's a nice place that does offer decent live music when I search the site. Nice atmosphere and typical tasty bar food.

Great burger special on Wed. $1 any burger. You still have to pay for fries and extras. No bringing any home though. There is a moosie blonde Ukrainian gal with enormous boobs, that has a mean demeanor and is very rude to her customers. If you get past that you will enjoy the tall modelesqe waitresses who work here. Good bands good specials, $2.95 12" pizzas during Blackhawks games NY Eve $65 top shelf and buffet, DJ. Dress to impress!

Disappointed!!! It took us a while to get menus and order drinks, food .Server was friendly but really slow and not professional! We ordered zantes platter appetizer and pepperoni pizza: food tasted ok. Appetizer was cool, tasted like it been sitting in the kitchen for a good 20 min while serve brought it . Pizza was ok, simple. Not plannig to come back for sure !

I hated everything about this place! Drinks are ridiculously expensive, bartenders weren't friendly, and the bouncers and security are dicks! The place is very loud and the music was crap you can listen to on KISS FM.

Food was good, service (female bar server) is HORRIBLE. Literally I felt like I did something wrong for being the business traveler, trying to check out a new place and getting avoided. I basically got my order in, no drink refills, waited parched forever, so yeah, I'll go somewhere where they'll pay attention to me. Don't go if you aren't a regular, apparently that's whom the female bar server working on 8/14/2013 @ around 8p CST aka Server "Cash 6" was doing. She wasn't any good. The guy she was working with checked on me a couple of times, and he wasn't my server. Buffalo Wild Wings is where I went and got treated way nicer!!! Maybe the female bar server was having a bad day.

I only come here when they have a special deal on wed. $1 burgers on wed but the catch is you have to order a drink to receive the deal and dine-in only. Zante's burger is the best burger on earth!. Greek is good too if you like blue cheese. Staff is little unfriendly maybe due to high volume of customers.

If there was a hell mouth for douche bags this is definitely one of them. I've been to the Zante's in Palos and the food between the two doesn't even compare. The food at this one is gross and sub par in comparison!! Do not come here on a weekend if you like your sanity. This place THINKS they are a Chicago club and so do the people that frequent it. They have a freakin' bathroom attendant... seriously thanks but I can wipe my own damn hands and I'm not paying you a dollar for a stick of gum. The door guys/ bouncers are rude (probably from the hair gel leaking through their skulls. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I was here last night for a friend's birthday party. Our group was large, 40+ and Zante's did a nice job of reserving space for us. I arrived later, so I didn't have dinner but I didn't hear any complaints. The service was accommodating but I think they should have had 1 more waitress in our area due to our size group. $5 cover but there was a great band playing. Would I pay $5 to walk into this place otherwise? No. As far as the clientele, I would agree with some of the other posters. Younger, douchey shore crowd but there were so 40 + year olds but I think it may have been because of the band. One of the gals in our group got her sweater stolen. The bouncer/mgr that was helping her was courteous and played a surveillance tape and it showed the couple who walked by one of our tables and took the sweater. Whether it gets returned or not, who knows. Karma will get the person who took it. The only negative I will comment on is about where they seated us. They had pulled 4 high top tables together in the middle of what could have been part of the dance floor. There was a step up ledge to get to the booth tables making it dangerous. It's quite dark in this place and if you don't see the step, you can easily trip and fall. All in all, I would only come here with a larger group of friends and if there was a good band playing.

Yes, would agree Zante's thinks its a "Chicago Club" on the weekends that I've been there (Twice) Can't say what its like during the week? (Mon-Thur) Overall, guess it's not bad that the south burbs has a spot like this......you just have to know what you're walking into.......mid 30's or older I'd skip it on the weekends....but if its your scene have at it!! --Nice they have live music (check website) --Mainly 20-somethings (Jersey Shore/Tools) --Outdoor seating area --Girls working the bar are fast (but don't know about the staff working tables?) --$5 cover OK (If they have a band) --No need for the bathroom attendants --Bouncers can be rude

I' ve been here a few times and the times I do go the place is over crowded. Its deff. Nice inside the waitresses are cute but don't try to price your drinks like downtown drinks if we are not DT... But never the less I always have a great time when Im there as long as you surround yourself with good people you are bound to make good of any situation..

Love their martinis, great specials. The club reminds me of the good old 90s dance clubs - projected lights spinning on the floor and DJ. We went in because of a great Valentine's special offered by the Comfort Inn right across the parking lot... by purchasing the Valentine's special there, we got a $40 gift card to spend at Zante's any time we wanted. Ended up coming back a week later to spend it. Great food, great drinks, great service. We'll be back.

Awesome lounge/club in the Orland Prak / Tinley Park Area! Great food and they have good specials just like $1 Burgers on Wednesdays and they always have Pizza specials! They do private parties and have a great patio for the warm months to hangout on! This place is awesome to have in the suburbs! They also have a hotel next door if you want crash and not drive home which is convenient :) See you soon Zantes!!

The first time I came here was on a Friday night in October and charged $5 at the door. Didn't expect that. There was also a live band, which was cool, but definitely could not talk to my friends until I stepped outside into 20 degree weather. I've also come here to watch a Bulls game in the middle of the week and it wasn't crowded at all but I'll take that. It's definitely a different place compared to the weekend and more relaxed/less clubby. However, our waitress was somewhat lacking in service. When the Bears were still playing, I came here with friends and the atmosphere again was different, but it was enjoyable and fun to watch with everyone. Another time, I came for $5 unlimited wings, which I would definitely choose over Hooters for flavor and our server was on top of her game. Honestly, it depends when you come in. The crowd changes and the service is hit or miss. Try it, then try it again just to be sure if you made up your mind. I'll come back, it's a chill place in the area, but I personally would avoid it on Friday and Saturday nights.

Looked like an episode from Bar Rescue. I would come again and give it a try, but expectations were higher before we walked in.

Good place to hang with friends. Good bands and the bartenders are quick and friendly

Customer service sucks! Waitress at the bar seems very stuck up and rude... I ordered the bruschetta and the bread was extremely soggy to a point where I couldn't even pick it up. BAD EXPERIENCE OVERALL!

Great environment, drink specials and appetizers.

This place is awesome! The food taste great and the atmosphere is fun! All the girls that work there are beautiful. The management is friendly. The daily drinks specials are reasonable along with the daily food specials.

Average sports bar. Limited menu. Tasty large Greek salad with plenty of feta. Maybe pretty good in the afternoon. Staff allowed us choice of stations. No opposition.
